Tarzan and His Mate (1934) Maureen O'Sullivan

Maureen O'Sullivan

Wholesome looking Irish lass, Maureen O'Sullivan, began
her career when a  a director doing location filming saw the
beauty and suggested she do a screen test. She did, and he ended
up putting Maureen in that same movie.....1930's "Song o' My Heart".
After several roles, and a jump over to a contract at MGM, she was
chosen for the role that she would best be known as......Jane Parker
in 1932's "Tarzan the Ape Man" This role would go on to last
thru a total of 6 different Tarzan movies, and cement her in the eyes and
hearts of all as the original and true Jane to Johnny Weissmuller's Tarzan.
Her skinny dip with Tarzan, deep in the heart of the African forrest, would
cement Maureen's body as a fine work of art in the 2nd of the Tarzan movies,
"Tarzan and his Mate", which you can see below.......
