The Black Pearl of Paris! Josephine Baker was a singer,
dancer, actress, activist, and was the first black woman to 
headline a motion picture with 1934's "ZouZou". but was
the soul reason to even see many of the other pictures she'd
appeared in....at least she's the one they all talked about! And
for good reason! With a body toned to perfection from years
of dancing, she wasn't afraid to show it on the stage OR in front
of a movie camera. In the movie below, she'll show you what the
crowds in Paris paid their hard earned 1927 francs to see, and
